Everything you need to know before race day — September 10, 2026

Race Rules & Safety

A mandatory safety briefing will be held before the race begins. All registered riders must attend.

Helmets are required. No helmet, no ride — no exceptions.
Sign the rules & waiver. Each racer must sign the official rules and regulations document before the race.
Course positioning: Faster riders stay to the outside of the course. Slower riders keep to the inside.
Signal before passing. Announce your intention clearly before overtaking another rider.
Be respectful. Be kind to your fellow racers. This is a community event — good sportsmanship is expected of all riders.
Bring your own penny farthing. Bicycles will not be provided. You must supply your own high-wheel bicycle.
Race to Zero format: The race runs for one hour. Complete another lap if time remains. The race ends when the clock expires mid-lap.
